As a child with autism,

I had trouble knowing the 'right way' was to mourn.

Now as an adult, I've learned that people grieve differently and that's okay. It took me a long time to learn that.

So, my next book will be about how children can grieve loss, expectations after death, and acceptance. Since this is a heavy topic, I plan to spend a lot of time researching and being considerate with my drawings. This project will take longer than usual.
